hmmm im feeling like u know. INTELLECTUAL today. so i decided to discuss on a intelligent topic. (which usually ends up stupid) lets discuss about the use of similes! i feel that the use of similes is too exaggarative and at the same time, not specified enough. lets start with exxagarative. when u say: hes as fierce as a tiger. do u really mean that he go around roaring and pouncing and crawling on all 4s to face u? see? exxagaration. and yes, dont mind me, i do NOT know how to spell exxagaration. im as stupid as a pig. but do i look as if im stupid enough to eat anything on the floor and roll in the mud? yes, i know what some of u are thinking, well, IM NOT. uh ha! see exagarration. and now, no specifications. when u say: hes as big as an elephant. u are wrong AGAIN, cause elephants are not necessarily big right? u should specify, he is a big as an AVERAGE elephant. see? such wonderful english. and as predicted, the topic turned stupid after a while HAHAHA. what can i say? im good at this =)
