after insanely long away.. and insanely long holed up in the education system of Singapore, I'm finally out of it. Guess the feeling wasnt as sensational as I thought it would be (considering I got majorly raped in the last paper) but the follow up to graduating, that reality that strikes you that you are now an UNEMPLOYED adult rather than a FULLTIME studen, was every bit as realistic as I imagined it to be.
Well it doesnt help that when everyone who knows that you have graduated bombards you with countless AND endless questions as to what do you want to do next, when do you want to buy a house, when do you want to get married, when do you want to quit polo... I guess its just all very very realistic considering the type of people we are. I don't/hardly hear people asking me so whats your dream? how are you going to achieve it? its just always those same questions that kinda translates to me as "when are you going to become like us?" or "when are you going to start following the well beaten path then us and many others have travelled?". I dont blame anyone for the way they think, thats their right to do so, but I hate feeling like I am disappointing them when I try to follow my dreams.
